Instagram Adds New Live Video Sharing Feature

Social networking site Instagram, which specialises in photo sharing, has decided to add new features, allowing users to share live video files with friends on their contact lists through a live message.

The move comes as Instagram confirmed earlier this month that it intended to test the implementation of a new instant chat.

The new feature allows users to send live videos over direct messages to other Instagram users. The update brings the opportunity to share a live video (either the user’s own video or another that the user is watching) directly to a friend or a group on Instagram.

“The application also adds a comment button on the main post, which makes comments easier to add,” a spokeswoman for Instagram said.
