A research team from the Center for Oncology at the University of Texas has succeeded in developing computer models and analytical tools to monitor the development of tumors in individual cases, based on specific biological characteristics.
The research team for the development and use of computational models uses sophisticated computing resources at the Center for Advanced Computing Studies in Texas. Supercomputers allow researchers to solve major problems and find solutions faster than using individual computers.
Thanks to the new technology, researchers have been able to predict the size of cancer growth in mice in a series of laboratory experiments. The research team says that they were able to accurately predict cancer growth rates as a result of this technology.
