The Spaces, a digital magazine specialising in architecture, design, art and property, has chosen Muscat as a the right market for investing in property in 2018, along with seven other design-savvy cities around the world.
In a report published by CNN, the magazine described Muscat as a city that is recommended for investors during 2018. Muscat was selected in second place behind Toronto, Canada.
The magazine pointed out that Muscat was selected due to the fact that it is a safe haven in what is an otherwise volatile region, which is in part due to the neutral approach taken by the Sultanate.
The report went on to touch upon the new Muscat International Airport, which will eventually have capacity for 48 million passengers per year, creating a likely and comparatively safe gateway to the east.
The list of cities in the list also includes Dundee in the United Kingdom, Paris, Tokyo, Tbilisi in Georgia and San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.
