The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will organise a ceremony to honour the winning companies in the second edition of the OCCI Social Responsibility Competition. The ceremony will be held ar the Sheraton Hotel on Monday.
The ceremony will be held under the patronage of Dr. Yahya Mahfoudh Al Manthri, Chairman of the State Council.
The award seeks to spread the culture of social responsibility and highlight the outstanding role of institutions and companies in this field. It also aims to encourage positive competition among companies to contribute to the economic, social and environmental aspects of society, as well as to promote the pursuit of sustainable development.
The second edition of the award was announced in January 2017 and targeted local and international institutions and companies affiliated with the OCCI in various economic sectors.
