The Ministry of Manpower has announced that as part of the efforts to provide job opportunities for Omanis, a total of 3,454 Omani nationals were given positions in various private sector institutions between the 1st and the 22nd of January.
Of this figure, 1,724 held certificates below the general education diploma level, 1,093 held general education diplomas and 637 held higher diplomas and university degrees.
The ministry explained that the government is continuing to provide employment opportunities in line with its plan, so to accommodate job seekers with opportunities in the private sector.
A number of interviews will be conducted with job seekers between the 25th and the 31st of January, as the ministry attempts to coordinate with other companies.
