The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has confirmed that an accident involving a bus has taken place in Qantab.
According to the official ROP Twitter account, one person has died, while 23 others are injured. Of this number four people have critical injuries. The injured have been taken to hospital.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
