Oman Air has announced the appointment of Sulaiman Al Ghanami as Chief Financial Officer as of the 1st of February. Al Ghanami joins Oman Air during the transitional period, in which the carrier is attempting to expand its network and strengthen its fleet.
“I am very pleased that Sulaiman Al Ghanami has joined the Oman Air family as a result of Oman Air’s intensive search to find an Omani financial expert to become the Chief Financial Officer,” said Abdul Aziz Al Raisi, Acting Oman Air CEO.
Al Ghanami joins the national carrier with thirteen years of international professional experience. He worked for Oman Dry Dock Company for a total of six years until October 2017 as Chief Financial Officer and Acting Executive Vice President.
Al Ghanami was quoted as saying “the position of Head of Finance at Oman Air is a very prestigious position and I am confident in my skills and expertise that will enable me to achieve the financial success of the company.”
