According to statistics provided by the Directorate of Combating Infiltration, last week a total of seventy individuals of various nationalities attempted to enter the country illegally. The operation to foil their attempt to enter the Sultanate took place in cooperation with military and security forces
The statistics also revealed that 81 attempted infiltrators were deported in coordination with their embassies, after the necessary legal procedures were taken.
The Royal Oman Police calls upon the community to join hands and cooperate by being sure to communicate any potentially helpful information to the ROP, either by calling 9999 or by visiting the nearest police station.
