Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has referred to the Sultanate as a close maritime neighbour, with whom India enjoys excellent relations.
Modi went on to reveal, via his official Facebook account, that he is due to head to the Sultanate on the 11th and 12th of February.
On his visit to Oman Modi will have talks with His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, as well as meet with Sayyid Fahad bin Mahmoud Al Said and Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said.
Prime Minister Modi added that there would also be a number of interactions taking place with Omani businessmen, pertaining to developing stronger economic links between the two countries.
