His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Al Zaabi, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation, has revealed that forty experiments have been carried out to date in order to ensure that operations at the new passenger terminal at Muscat International Airport can commence.
Al Zaabi explained at a media conference that the experiments involved approximately 21,000 participants. A total of 786 simulated flights have been carried out.
Operations are set to be transferred to the new airport on the 20th of March.
