Mwasalat has announced, following the signing of an agreement with Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC), it will operate a new taxi service from Muscat International Airport as of the 18th of February.
The company announced that the price of the starting fare from the airport would be reduced from six to three Rials.
The agreement aims to enhance the quality of services provided to passengers to and from the new airport, thus contributing to the advancement of the public transport sector in the Sultanate.
Regarding the price of the airport taxi service, the metre will start at three Rials, costing 400 baisa per kilometre for the first 30 kilometres, after which it becomes 200 baisa per kilometre.
For the evening tariff the metre starts at 3.6 Rials, costing 450 baisa per kilometre for the first 30 kilometres, after which it becomes 200 baisa per kilometre.
