National transportation company Mwaslat is set to launch new routes between Muscat and Rustaq and Muscat and Samail.
The launch of the new routes will take place on Friday the 23rd of February, in response to the public’s desire for round trip routes from Muscat to other parts of the country.
Mwaslat will operate buses on the new routes, with two daily journeys in each direction. The first bus will depart from Rustaq at 5:45 am, arriving in Muscat at 7 am. On the other route the bus leaves Samail at 6 am, reaching Muscat at 7 am.
The Muscat-Rustaq route stops are the Al Khuwair pedestrian tunnel, Azaiba bus station, Burj Al Sahwa, Al Hazm roundabout, Sultan Qaboos Mosque Rustaq.
The Muscat-Samail route stops are the Al Khuwair Pedestrian Tunnel, Azaiba Bus Station, Burj Al Sahwa, Sultan Qaboos Mosque Fanja, Oman Arab Bank Bidbid, Samail Gate.
Tickets can be purchased from Mwasalat offices or on board.
