Oman Customs has revealed on its official Twitter account that it has foiled an attempt to smuggle 239 packets of the narcotic qat through the Sarfait border post.
Customs explained that the qat was packed in the body of a vehicle and in the reserve fuel tank.
The Sarfait border post is located in Dhofar, on the Sultanate’s border with Yemen.
