Oman Post is participating at the Muscat International Book Fair, whereby it will provide visitors with a special offer. This is the second time that the company is involved at the exhibition, which comes in partnership with the Rawazin Library.
Through its participation, Oman Post will provide a book delivery service both inside and outside of the Sultanate, in addition to presenting the company’s publications and introducing its postal services to customers.
Commenting on the company’s participation, Ahmed Said Al Shukaili, Director General of Corporate Support, said “we are investing in the Muscat International Book Fair, which is an important event, in order to reach out to those visiting the fair. We will provide them with a book delivery service, both within and outside of the Sultanate, for books that they purchase. A souvenir is also included.”
Al Shukaili explained that Oman Post was participating in the Muscat International Book Fair in order to better understand customers’ wishes and meet their requirements. It is also a community service initiative, through which it will build relationships with visitors to the exhibition, as well as with local and foreign libraries and publishing houses.
Al Shukaili stressed that the company is looking forward to building its relationship with exhibition visitors, so to enable potential customers to learn more about Oman Post’s various services.
Oman Post was established in accordance with Royal Decree No. (48/2005), following the government’s keenness to privatise the services sector. This included the postal sector, which it saw as an important pillar in the development process.
The services provided by Oman Post include standard mail, publications, postcards, small internal and external packages, express mail, government mail delivery, mail services for the blind, fixed and mobile box service and Matjar Oman.
