An official ROP source has revealed that it has arrested two Omani nationals in North Al Batinah for the posession of more than six and a half kilograms of heroin.
This amount is worth up to 300,000 Omani Rials.
The source explained that investigations suggested that the suspects were involved in the smuggling of narcotics into the Sultanate by sea. They were caught in Shinas with smuggled drugs on their possession.
