Twitter announced on Wednesday that it has added a new feature allowing personal tweets to be kept for later viewing.
According to Sky News Arabia, the launch of Bookmarks came following a trial period at the end of last year.
A desire to save content for later reading is something that users have asked for for some time, due to just how much news circulates across Twitter, often including links to longer articles that users don’t have time to read in the moment.
Twitter said that its Bookmarks feature would be personal, meaning only the user will be able see the saved Tweets. The tags will be stored in the user’s account, in the order in which they were saved.
Tweets can be saved by clicking the ‘Share’ button in the bottom right corner of the tweet, before selecting ‘Add Tweet to Bookmarks.’
