Muscat Municipality has revealed that it has received a report from the Public Authority for Consumer Protection regarding the use of a house in a residential neighbourhood for commercial purposes.
The Municipality added that in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) raided the location in cooperation with the Inspection and Food Control Department.
The municipality revealed that the house was used to prepare pastry for commercial purposes, distributed it to cafes and restaurants in Mutrah. The ROP added that this was being done without a commercial license.
