Oman Air has received its second Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft as part of thirty that it has ordered.
This serves as a reflection of the company’s commitment to moving forward by investing in growth and expansion plans. Oman Aor expects to receive a total of five 737 Max 8s by September 2018.
The Boeing 737 Max 8 has eight percent lower operating costs than other similar such aircraft and has 162 seats, twelve of which are business class.
Oman Air is expected to launch three new destinations this year, to Istanbul and Casablanca in June and July respectively, as well as Moscow during the winter. These new destinations are part of the airline’s expansion plans, so to enable Muscat International Airport to become a regional hub.
