Muscat Municipality has said that driving vehicles, including motorcycles, on the beach poses a danger to beach goers as well as acts as a disturbance to public peace.
The municipality explained through its official Twitter account that driving vehicles on the beach is a violation of regulations and is punishable by a fine or imprisonment for two months.
